Why you should use the right hashtags

When hashtags became a thing, people would hashtag literally everything — I mean every single word on their post. Then it changed, and all you needed was to add two or three relevant hashtags to your post, and you could reach thousands of people instantly.

 

Hashtags can be used on almost every social media platform. But if you want your social media posts to actually gain traction, you are going to need to make use of the right hashtags for your posts. 

 

The hashtags you need to use should be:

• short
• specific, and 
• relevant.

 

By using the right hashtags, you will:

• increase your visibility
• boost your engagement, and 
• be able to track your post’s performance more effectively.
