How does brand tracking work?

Our Brand Tracking service offering starts your keyword journey by gathering all of your targeted posts and brand mentions on social media. This allows you to track mentions surrounding your brand outside of your owned Social Media pages.

Can I see what people are saying about my brand?

We provide a listing of mentions that can be viewed and responded to directly from amaSocial’s App

How do I track a campaign or event?

We are able to track the required mentions pertaining to your campaign or event, including your hashtags and @handles. By creating Subfolders, you can further classify your data according to key business interests, enabling you to manage, analyse and report on the data in smaller clusters.

Can amaSocial tell me which platform I should direct my marketing efforts to?

We have a Daily Insights graph that shows you a comparison of which platform generated the most traction surrounding your brand. You can then use that comparison to direct your marketing efforts accordingly, to maximize engagement.

How can I detect if my brand is experiencing a crisis on amaSocial?

Our Hourly Mentions feature indicates the timeline of your mentions through a heat map. By visualising the data, you will be able to pin-point the narrative of user interactions. If there is a spike in traction in a specific hour, it can be an indication of a possible crisis surrounding your brand. We also have our Social Cloud feature, which highlights trending words surrounding your brand, allowing you to identify if there are any negative or “bad words” used within mentions that can prelude a possible threat.

Does amaSocial source influencers?

We provide you with a list of authors as well as a contribution figure for you to consider the specific authors as potential influencers. Our Influencer Partnerships service offering allows you to see your influencers’ contributions to your brand in real-time, enabling you to evaluate if they are the right fit for your brand.

Can amaSocial calculate the reach figures of mentions?

We provide a follower count for each author that mentioned you, which gives an estimate reach of that specific author. Follower count is only available on Content Verification projects if the user has this enabled on their page/profile. Twitter also provides a follower count, but only if the user has enabled this feature.

Does amaSocial highlight what is considered as a ‘striking’ post pertaining to my brand?

Since the content of a post or mention has a critical impression on the reader, we provide Impact Scores for each post. This rates the efforts of the author, E.g. How much text they have used, how many people they tagged, etc.

Can I engage with the content from the amaSocial App?

We provide a direct link per post on our platform, which takes you straight to that post on the specific platform for you as a brand to engage with the content directly from the App.

Can amaSocial backtrack social media data?

Yes, we can do a Backsearch on the provided @handels and hashtags for a maximum period of 6 months.

Can amaSocial track keyword mentions on LinkedIn?

We can only track owned profiles on LinkedIn under amaSocial’s Content Verification service offering.

Why is YouTube content displayed separately?

YouTube’s policies states that we are not allowed to compare YouTube’s figures to any other Social Media platform.

What are Access Tokens?

Access Tokens gives us permission to legally and ethically withdrawal data from META (owners of Instagram and Facebook), YouTube and Linkedin.

Does amaSocial monitor Instagram Stories?

No, due to policies imposed by Facebook.
